TO CONVERT MOTION
LEARN TO MOTION
LEVERS
A lever is a rigid bar that is used with a point support or a fulcrum
PULLEYS
A filled pulleys is a balanced when the offort, is equal to the [load
ROTARY MOTION
PULLEYS WITH A BELTS
There are two pulleys or wheels that are a certain distance, the pulleys rotate in the same direction ![)
WORM GEAR
This is a screw that moves a helical cogwed wivh is set perpendicular to the screw, this is used to reduce velocity as well as serving as a braking system
FRICTION DRIVE
This is made up of two or more wheels that are in contact . Ussualy the whell rotates in the opoosite direction to the primary wheel.

GEAR MACHINES
Cogwheels are sts of wheels that have teeth called cogs.
TO TRANSMIT MOTION
CRANK-LINK-SILDER
This is composed of a crank and rod called a connecting rod or link This rod has articulated joints at each end.
The slider outputs reciprocating
CAM
Is a basically a roatating shape that pulshes a follower. A cam transforms rotary motion in to reciprocatong motion in the follower or bar. This is touched and moved by edge of the cam when it rotates.
RACK AND PINION
This uses a pinion( a small cogwheel) mounted on a rack( a tooyhed belt or bar). Whwn the pinion rotaes, the rack advances in a linear motion
NUT AND BOLT
Consists of a bolt or threaded bar and a nut that has the same interior diameter as the diameter of the bolt, if the nut rotates in a fixed position the bolt will move in a linear motion
