The Black Death
The black death was the most common form of a plague in humans, characterized to be fevers.
Symptoms include, inflammation, fevers, headache, tumors, and black spots
Rats traveled through trade on ships, spreading the black death.

The Geography of Europe
There were lots of mountain ranges and forest regions in Europe, and there were also canyons.
There were many waterways, including one called Danulce.
In Europe, it was cloudy, rainy, and sometimes sunny, and the temp. was usually around 15 degrees celcius.

The different roles and classes in order were, king and queen, lords and ladies, knights, and then peasants and serfs.
The people that owned the Manors were called vassals, and the vassals were also knights.
In Feudalism, the role below gave the role above service, while the role above gave land.

King John raised taxes, and punished enemies without trial. Many people didn't like this king.
Alfred the Great united with the the Saxons, and this drove away the Vikings.
King Henry set up a central court with lawyers and judges, and he also appointed circuit judges, who traveled across the country.

Some of the kings jobs were to keep peace, teach squires, and to be God's representative.
Some of the Popes jobs were to be the successor to St. Peter, to be the supreme pastor, and to unify the people.
Pope Leo and King Charlemagne worked together, while King Henry and Pope Gregory fought over power.
