The tone of the poem was "sassy", "confident", because the poet used words like "sassiness" and "i'll rise". The poet had a positive attitude towards the subject which is people bringing her down and not allowing them to do that.

The mood of the poem is empowering. Because after reading the poem it will encourage people to not let others bring them down. Words that contributed to the mood were " i'll rise" and "hopes"

6)It inspires bullied people to stop their bullies and stand for themselves. It also inspires bullies to stop bullying because after reading this poem they will know the struggle of people they bully.

1) The point of the poem is to raise awareness about bullying and bringing people down. The poet wrote it because she has faced a lot of difficulties growing up as black woman
