The title of the poem is "still I rise". The title tells me that this poem is about that nobody's perfect, and we're all still growing and improving our selfs.

To make people feel like they are worth it, and to not people down.

The poem was published on 1978.

The author used some figurative language and sound devices in the poem. Such as hyperbole, the author wrote "you may kill me with your hatefulness". The author exaggerated the event of someone killing her with their hatefulness. because nobody can actually kill some one with their hate, but the feeling of being hated is killing her. This helped us visualize the scene and emphasize how harmful would it be to feel hated. Another example is rhyme scheme. The rhyme scheme of the poem is (A,B,C,B). The rhyme scheme gives a musical, songlike and lyric sound to the poem. There are also rhyming words in the poem. Such as, "lies" and "rise". These rhyming word also give a musical, songlike and lyric sound to the poem.

The poem inspired people because author described how hard and hurtful it feels to feel down.

Yes, because this poem would inspire them and motivate them to do better everyday.

Because it improved and helped many people not feel broken and hurt.

I predict that this poem will be relevant in the future because in all ages there are many people who feel down and depressed of themselves or about other people's opinions, and then they try to rise up and start again.
