ANDRAGOGY : SELF-DIRECTED LEARNING
FOCUS OF LEARNING : learning is goal-driven, focusing on tasks which allow for cross-disciplinary thinking and autonomy.
MOTIVATION FOR LEARNING : learner enjoy the boosts to self-esteem that comes from successfully completing challenges.
REASONS FOR LEARNING : still searching or a guidelines or mentorship but mostly just to get the enough information so that the learners can increased their responsibility while studying.
ROLE OF TEACHER : (Facilitator) sets tasks but encourages diverse routes to solutions. pursues meta-cognition in learners.
DEPENDENCE : they are independent and react as the "problem solvers".

EXAMPLE : secondary and university students are considered as the Andragogy type of learning style. it is because they seek extra information by their own to improve their performance
PEDAGOGY : Teacher-Led Learning
FOCUS OF LEARNING : learning is subject-centered and focused on prescribed curriculum
MOTIVATION FOR LEARNING : mostly the learners follow their parents said, and also follow the teachers.
REASONS FOR LEARNING : hundreds percent put their trust on the teacher itself. Learners take little or no responsibility for their learning.
ROLE OF TEACHER : (Teacher) provide the materials, suggest, and design the learning process to achieve their desired outcomes.
DEPENDENCE : very dependent on the teacher or instructor. it determine on how, what, where and when anything teacher want to teach.

EXAMPLE : kindergarten students are learning anything their teachers provides. without the teacher, the learning process can't be done.
HEUTAGOGY : SELF-DETERMINED LEARNING
FOCUS OF LEARNING : learners are enquiry-driven - they take long-term view of their learning, seeking further complexity and uncertainty.
MOTIVATION FOR LEARNING : learners seek out unfamiliar situations and the gaining of "adaptive competences". slowly adapting and gaining motivation while learning something new.
REASONS FOR LEARNING : it is not necessary need to learnt something on sequential. learners need to take full responsibility upon their choices.
ROLE OF TEACHER : (Coach) assist athletes in developing to their full potential. They are responsible for training athletes in a sport by analyzing their performances, instructing in relevant skills and by providing encouragement.
DEPENDENCE : they are "problem finders". they have their own target to achieve something and became interdependent on those who can help them.

EXAMPLE : People want to play scuba diving. before that, they need to learn on how to swim. searching for swimming coach and all that learning process are pointed to the Heutagogy.
