4-he has both positive and negative attitude because he said that the cage bird was tied up and still open his throat to sing with is both negative and positive attitude.

5-the mood of the poem is sad but happy in the same way because he is in trouble but he opens his throat to sing even though he is in trouble.

6-yes the poem has purpose, because most people give up in the birds situation but the caged bird opens his throat and sings even though he is in difficult situation.
