I have explained actions my leader took

How their actions promoted a position of power

Leadership style and methods

As the absolute monarch/leader of England and Ireland, Queen Elizabeth I was in a very respectable position of power

I have chosen an effective historical leader

Elizabeth I was a prominent leader in the history of England, so much so, that her era was named the Elizabethan Era, as well as the golden age in England's history

Elizabeth took many actions while she was ruling England

Very generally speaking, her role was to be the queen/reigning monarch of the United Kingdom

In terms of things such as military control and such, it was Elizabeth's job to take charge as showcased with the case of the Spanish Armada

Because of this, the whole of the United Kingdom looked to her leadership

Ambitious and strong willed

As an absolute monarch, she was to have full control of her country, meaning her actions and words were very influential throughout the country

(Unmatched) Confidence

Loyalty

As a leader, she was to prove to her people that they can look up to her, which she was able to do effectively

Spain was considered the most powerful country on the globe at the time, but Queen Elizabeth was leading a bankrupt country with many enemies, and still had the gall to challenge the most powerful country and defeat their Armada

By believing in Elizabeth, the people of England were able to believe in the success of their nation

Being the intelligent woman she was, Elizabeth had to work her way around problems such as the bankruptcy in England

She was also known by names such as Gloriana, after the Armada's downfall, likely for the glory she bought to England

She was very well known for clearing England of it's crushing debt, which lead to more success in her country as well as her praise, showcasing her role as an effective leader

The religious changes she had pursued had also made a large impact in English society, because of the less favourable actions of previous ruler, Mary.

Elizabeth was very loyal to her country and her people, which proved very useful as it made her adored by her people.

She was so loyal she declared her husband to be the Kingdom of England (which lead to her being known as the Virgin Queen), and worked only for the purpose of her country, especially when it came to things such as promoting protestantism

Decisive and intelligent

As explained with the case of the Spanish Armada's downfall, Elizabeth had an incredible amount of confidence to be able to lead her people against the powerful Spanish Armada and being victorious

Outcomes

explained the impact and/or outcomes which my leader had on their community.

Identified different scales of impact from their leadership aka local global national

Elizabeth displayed these qualities very prominently, as she had difficult goals to accomplish during her reign as queen.

An example of this was converting the country back to Protestantism, as her sister had left the country in a state where this was considered a very negative thing, which Elizabeth was even briefly imprisoned for.

Unlike her predecessors, Elizabeth was not one who went to behead people for not following her way. Instead, she was one who decided to negotiate with others in order to retain peace

Elizabeth was able to negotiate with others, which eventually lead to the debt in England being paid off as a result of the less barbaric methods of getting her way, as well as the other methods she used, such as using her funding less,

Elizabeth's leadership style could be considered to be that of a transformational leader.

A transformational leader is one who aims to transform the environment they are currently in.

Elizabeth had set many goals throughout her reign as Queen of England, where she had then accomplished many things.

Elizabeth's method of getting what she was looking for was very different like predecessors like Henry VIII

Instead, she decided to negotiate with others. A clear example is when she negotiated with England's previous enemies, asking for peace, in order to clear England's debt.

For example, Elizabeth showed an interest in literature, and it was because of her support that she was able to bring about a golden age for literature in England.

Elizabeth was able to convert England back from their stage of Roman Catholicism, as enforced by previous Queen "Bloody Mary," to Protestantism, relieving the country as Protestants were previously persecuted by Mary.

As the absolute monarch, Elizabeth had full control over the entire country, and every action

For instance, when she wanted to convert England back to Protestantism, her decisions were not to be questioned, as she was in the position of power.

On Elizabeth's community (The United Kingdom), Elizabeth was able to solve many issues, to restore peace in the kingdom

An example of this was the crushing debt that England was facing, which Elizabeth was able to negotiate her way through

The downfall of the Spanish Armada was another accomplishment Elizabeth had made.

This was able to resolve Spain's high power in comparison to the power that England had, which allowed the kingdom to feel safety and be able to look up to their leader.

On a local and national scale (very similar)

Elizabeth was able to give wealth and power back to her husband, the kingdom of England, after being left in ruins by previous rulers.

Able to convert her country back to protestantism, after it was previously shunned because of predecessor Mary

Global scale

England was now considered a great power, because of what Elizabeth had accomplished.

Considering how Henry VIII and other monarchs were not known as good financial managers, it was up to Elizabeth to solve this.

By making use of negotiations and loans Elizabeth took, the monarch was slowly able to bring England's wealth back up

In history, Elizabeth is now considered one of the greatest monarchs to rule England.

Her encouragement of the arts had lead to many artistic projects coming along in her time

She made England to be a hub for global trading and exploration, which ties back into the national aspect of getting more wealth for her country.
