It is credited from bridging a gap between the Middle Ages and modern day civilizations

Paintings and sculpting were influenced by realism
Paintings also used religious themes in works
Humanism combined religious ideas with the Greek and Roman
Artists focused on anatomically correct people in realistic poses
Roman artwork built on classical ideas of Greek and Roman idea of individual beauty
The two main things that the artwork in the renaissance was about is humanism and realism

Politics were affected
Books about politics said that the government had to govern
Then the printing press came in
Emphasized the importance of education
Music also had greater importance was influenced on religious themes
Renaissance scientists and philosophers began questioning prior teachings and new discoveries
