The Rehabilitative Frame of Reference (FOR) focuses on helping an individual regain function by compensating for underlying deficits that cannot be remediated in daily occupations (Sainburg, Liew, Frey, & Clark, 2017). This framework will be used to guide the client’s treatment plan by helping her regain independence in her natural environment through compensatory strategies including adaptive devices, home modifications, and safety education (Sainburg, Liew, Frey, & Clark, 2017).
