- - - - I guess the closest thing could be the presidential election, during the election of 2016, many people were shook to the fact that there were this thing called electoral colleges that was a huge factor to the result of the election and many were disbelief to how their vote were meaningless because many believed the election were rigged.
    - - I am surprised to see this term to appear in the non participation especially that to majority of the people, it is believed that it is a healing process or a tool to help heal mental problems. But according to how Arnstein describes it, it sounds like more like hypnotherapy, brainwash which makes sense. but I am pretty shook to find this word in the ladder as a negative impacf
  - - - Despite giving the equal power to the people in the communities, certain powerless people such as outcast can be overpowered by the groups of people who dislikes them which can cause certain unfair system
        
        In GEOG 030 course, we learned reintroduction of wolves into Yellowstone National Park to help restore the ecosystem, however the nearby town were in uproar with their fears that they will be in danger to these wolves and their cattle production will decrease. Fortunately, there were a professional opinions from experts who explained and had evidence with trial run that almost nothing will change and the government will also reimburse of any product loss. Even with the clear information at their hands, the town people are still not persuaded. and still holds meeting to shut down the reintroduction programs
        
        Of course, Arnstein could be right, sometime these "experts" may not be "experts," her arguments brings back to Betsy Devos, current US Secretary of Education, many were convinced how she isn't fit to lead in US Education Department especially after viewing her hearing for the position. Despite having professional workers underneath, who could do the proper research and provide the right solution, many freaked out when she proposed that firearms should be legal in school territories because she believes that guns will "protect from potential Grizzlies"
        Even though, she said that she will have the matter to be handled differently by states and locales. Unfortunately, she or the president will be able to have the power to control the outcome of firearms policies in education which makes sense to better have individuals or communities to have direct involvement in it.
- - - - This selfish process allows to execute programs that creates more problem than solving it
  - - - I believe the gun laws plays a huge role that fits this ladder, whenever there is a shooting incident, people will try to mourn over the loss from the incident even the president makes a speech to honor them however, nothing is being done except people feeling sympathy towards the people who lost their loved ones. When the real problem is the existing of gun law
  - - - I believe this is where Davidoff has a good point to having a skilled professionals advocating on behalf of powerless client, not everyone can be a expert of everything therefore sometimes have certain people with certain expertise would be need to have a bit more power to able to help the community
  - - - I do agree with the civilians who thinks that they're tired of being asked for survey without ever seeing the results and only being kept as a record as if they're just doing nothing
        
        I believe that this is where an effective and efficient survey making is vital, where it asks and helps enlighten the real issues in the community and also allowing to see a clearly solutions that actions can be taken
