A Meal to Celebrate
A Toast With Champagne
Champagne comes from the Champagne region in France and undergoes a fermentation process called Methode Traditionnelle. This is a very time consuming process and the wine maker must rotate the bottles every few days to create the perfect bubbles for Champagne.
Once the Champagne has been made then the Champagne must be packaged with a cork and label and imported into the United States.
To import the product into the United States there are many people involved in the transfer and delivery of the item and eventually makes it's way to be purchased at a store
-
Now that the champagne has been imported it must be boughten at a store where clerks are involved and I would have to drive to the store to acquire this.
To serve the Champagne it must be chilled and served in Champagne glasses and there is an extensive process in the production in making glasses as well.
Roasted Rosemary Potatoes, Roasted Brussel Sprouts and Grilled Asparagus with Lemon Butter Sauce
Farmers would be needed to plant the various vegetables and lemons. The crops would need to be harvested and packaged to be shipped to a grocery store.
Transportation would be required to transport the vegetables to a grocery store and people would be involved in unpacking the food and displaying it in the store.
At the grocery store someone would be responsible for doing inventory and then a clerk would be needed to sell the vegetables. I as the consumer would need to go to the grocery store to purchase them.
-
To prepare the food I would need an oven, grill, olive oil, spices, and cooking utensils. All of these supplies would have to go through a similar process and be transported to a store for pick up.
