there are levels of abstraction
Social identity theory places an emphasis on students value systems. Behaviours that are negatively affects a students chance of success in school are explained through their maintenance of their positive social identity in the face of low academic status.
There are some strategies that the low academic status groups can do: individual mobility; social creativity and direct competition

Mixed Method: Embedded Correlational Design
Binary Logistic Regression - Only if i use Grade attainment as my DV
IPA
Multiple Regression - Only if i use student engagement scale as my DV
Standard Multiple Regression (with clever demographic analysis in order to deconstruct belonging, isolation/loneliness and social identity theory.
Multiple Regression variables cannot be just a set of variables put together. You should have a theoretical or conceptual reason
Mixed Method: Explanatory Design
Qualitative Design
Interesting Questions:
Following this method, one must choose students from varying spectrums of scores, possibly.
