- - - - Students, parents, teachers, and community members can share their cross-cultural experiences through stories, art, literature, dance, etc. These real-life accounts will bring the content to life and make the unknown a little more familiar to students.
      - Administrators provide teachers with support and flexibility needed to provide a relevant global knowledge program that addresses current issues and events; news stories and current events are transformed into teachable moments that permeate the standard curriculum.
- - - - Examining injustice and world inequalities. Exploring underlying causes of world inequalities. Acting on those causes through local means; learning that small actions can have a global impact.
        
        Divergent thinking that enables students to see alternate solutions to existing problems; seeing the world differently than how it is now.
  - - - Incorporating cultural exchange in virtual exchange programs enabling students to have direct communication with kids their own age living under significantly different circumstances. Students have the opportunity to “travel” to another country without leaving their own school.
