A couple had a black cat, their pet called Pluto. Throughout the years they established closer and a healthy relationship with him. However, the husband became an alcoholic, and his behaviour became aggressive. He killed the cat and got another one. Afterwards, he realized the cats were the main reason for the radical change of his temperament. Nevertheless, he couldn't control himself and killed his wife. Therefore, he wrote the story from jail.
