Environmet

Private boarding school, middle school, projection is not provided, class of 30 students. teacher assumes the student have brought a printed animal pictures. Lesson takes 50 minutes.

Analysis

Prior knowledge: Students know simple present, nominal and verbal sentence.

Design

by the end of this lesson students will able to

identify the language feature and generic structure of descriptive text

Understand and produce a descriptive text

Implementation

Teacher Introduce the topic with a sentence "Oemar Diyan" on the white board and ask the student opinion about the school

assignment, fill in the black ( a non complete descriptive text)

Teacher explain the generic structure and language use of descriptive text

Teachers ask student to make a description of their own pictures

Teacher writes the students description about the school on white board and then explain the descriptive text

teacher give an assignment (text completion)
