This poem has the same rhyme scheme in every stanza and its ABAB. For example, the first and third line have similar words at the end like, "away and day" also the second and fourth line have similar words at the end like, "speaking and shrieking"

the mood of the poem is hopeful and happy because the poet says, "my heart is warm with friends" which gives positive feeling.
