incarnation
incarnate Son of God
Christians believe that Jesus is the human incarnate of God which was given birth by Mary and the Holy Spirit, however she did not conceive Jesus by sex. This is called the Virgin Birth
-
Gospel of Matthew, Luke and John
Christians believe that all Christians are children of God, however they gave Jesus the title the Son of God as he had a human nature which is Jesus as a human being and that he had also a divine nature which is Jesus in the form of God
importance
Jesus bought salvation from sin by sacrificing himself on the cross and giving humans an opportunity to have an eternal relationship with God and to go to heaven in the afterlife
it is the basis of Christianity as without the incarnation of God and Christ there would be no Christianity
by God sending his Son to earth shows his love to humanity from which Christians could learn how to follow a holy Christian life and understand how God would want them to take care of the earth
through Jesus Christians can see how God is like as without God in human from it would be hard to understand an infinite being such as God
