Easy to accept this impermanence abstractly & in general but it is much harder to apply this to our lives, making it harder to bear this in mind when we make decisions in our lives (Such as forming romantic relationships with people, although the other person is bound to change from the one they fell in love with). Via awareness of impermanence in our lives, we add a tinge of realism to our decisions, helping to put things in real perspective by removing attachments to things we can't change, giving us a truer understanding of reality (removing avidya and moha) and making people happier/more content in the long run (E.g Bereavement is an effect of impermanence and is very hard for people to adjust to, but through accepting that death is something that has occurred & that the world is no longer the same, this seems to be the key to overcoming grief)
