Has to be specific for the sport you are training for
Reversibility
any sport would use reversibility as every player will most likely suffer an injury.
Is used when you come back from an injury and they adapt your training program to rebuilding.
Progressive overload
Any sports can do progressive overload to cause the body to adapt.
in order to progress,training needs to be demanding enough to cause the body to adapt,improving performance
adaptations
boxers would use this because as they would do three different sessions each day.
How the body reacts to training loads by increasing its ability to cope with those loads.
Individual needs
The program me should be designed to meet indivual needs
boxers would use this to try and win themselves a world tittle
Variation
every sport would use variation it different ways like footballers might do different drills compared to boxers who do circuit training.
It is important to vary the training regime to avoid boredom and maintain enjoyment.
