        my steps had nearly slipped
        
        doubt: all in vain, I have kept my heart clean & washed my hands in innocence (challenge his identity in the Lord)
        
        suffering: all the day long I have been stricken and rebuked every morning
        
        It seemed to him it was a wearisome task to understand the situation
        
        the way out: went into the sanctuary of God and discerning the end of the wicked (rational explanation & vision)
      - probably due to envy
        
        for I was envious of the arrogant when I saw the prosperity of the wicked
        
        they have no pangs until death
        
        their bodies are fat and sleek
        
        the are not in trouble as others are
        
        they are not stricken as the rest of mankind
        
        result in
        
        violence covers them as a garment
        
        their eyes swell out through fatness
        
        their heart overflows with follies
        
        pride is their necklace
        
        set the mouth against the heaven
        
        their tongue struts through the earths
        
        scoff and speak with malice
        
        loftily they threaten oppression
        
        find no fault in them
        
        question how can God know or have knowledge
        
        Behold, they are the wicked and at ease, increase in riches
      - emotion
        
        my soul was embittered
        
        I was pricked in heart
        
        I was brutish and ignorant
        
        I was like a beast towards YOU
        
        see Nevertheless...
        
        my flesh and my heart may fail
- - - - Whom have I in heaven but YOU
      - nothing on earth I desire but YOU
      - God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever
