EER (Estimated Energy Requirement): The average dietary intake predicted to maintain energy balance in a healthy adult (of defined gender, age, weight, height, and level of activity, consistent with good health).
RDI (Recommended Daily Intake): The average daily dietary intake level that is sufficient to meet the nutrient requirements of nearly all (97-98%) healthy individuals in a particular life stage or gender group.
UL (Upper Level Intake): The high average daily nutrient intake level likely to post no adverse health effects to almost all individuals in the general population.
EAR (Estimated Average Requirement): The daily nutrient level to meet requirements of half the healthy individuals in a particular life stage or gender group.
ADMR (Acceptable Macronutrient Distribution Range) represents the range of intakes of energy nutrients that provide adequate energy and nutrients and reduces risk of chronic disease.
