Lynmore School is on land called Owhatiura, which means the place where the raincoat was laid. We have four whanau roopu - Waitawa ( the spring - puna), Kaipakau (wetlands), Te Papa o Ruamoa (hot water) and Tawaenga (wetlands containing bull rushes). As the Community of this school we need to develop a better understanding of this place.
