Indication

Differentiated thyroid carcinoma(DTC):for patient with locally recurrent or metastatic,progressive DTC that is refactory to radioactive iodine treatment
Contraindications
low amount of magnesium, phosphate, calcium, and potassium in the blood
Anemia, increased risk of bleeding, depression, heart attack, high blood pressure and angina
Nursing consideration
Treatment continues until the patient no longer benefiting from the therapy or till unacceptable toxicity occurs

bleeding, feeling tired, vomiting,diarrhea, nausea
stomach pain, rash or weight loss and thinning hair
