Crying: onset, character (pitch/tone of cry), timing (how often, how long, time of day), exacerbating/relieving factors, associated symptoms (reflux, constipation, rash)
Red flags: resp (distress, apnoea, cyanosis), gastro (vomiting bile/blood, bloody stool), infection (rash, fever)
Normal feeding patterns, fluids/foods, pacifiers, sleeping
Parental stress/anxiety, ICE
