Nefarelin
Mechanism of action
Is the desensitization of pituitary GnRH receptors leading to a decrease in gonadotropin release, and ovarian hormone serum concentrations similar to those achieved in postmenopausal women.
Indications
Endometriosis
Contraindications
A mother who is producing milk and breastfeeding.
Increased cardiovascular event risk.
Pregnancy.
A patients with gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) analogs hypersensitivity.
Side effects
Increase in pubic hair growth.
Decreased sexual interest or changes in sexual desire.
Vaginal dryness.
Muscle pain.
Route of administration and storage condition
It administered subcutaneous and also on nasal cavity.
It must be stored in 15-30 degrees celcius room temperature.
Danazol
Mechanism of action
Danazol reduces estrogen production and levels, it has functional antiestrogenic properties. The combination of its antiestrogenic, androgenic, and progestogenic or antiprogestogenic actions cause atrophy of the endometrium, which alleviates the symptoms of endometriosis.
Indications
Fibrocystic breast disease.
Premenstrual syndrome.
Management of menorrhagia.
Hereditary angioedema.
Contraindication
Androgen-dependent tumor.
Markedly impaired hepatic, renal, or cardiac function.
Pregnancy.
Undiagnosed abnormal genital bleeding.
Side effects
Sweating.
Hair loss.
Weight gain.
Sore throat.
Route of administration and storage
It administered orally
Store it at room temperature and away from light and excess heat and moisture (not in the bathroom).
Cyclofenin
Mechanism of action.
It relieves smooth muscle spasm of the gastrointestinal tract. Animal studies indicate that this action is achieved via a dual mechanism.
Indications
Painful menstruation Smooth muscle spasm.
Gastro-intestinal distress due to spasm.
Contraindications
Gastric inflammation or inflammatory bowel disease.
Liver or kidney disorder.
Severe ulceration of the colon.
Urinary tract disorder.
Side effects
Dizziness.

Route of administration and storage
Administered orally, intramuscular,inhalation, and sublingual.
It must be stored in 20 to 25 degrees celcius.
Pregnyl Vial
Mechanism of action
Pregnyl vial depends upon the purpose for which it is being used, the sex of the patient, and the level of maturity of the patient to whom it is administered.
Indications
Selected cases of hypogonadotropic hypogonadism in males.
Induction of ovulation and pregnancy in the anovulatory, infertile woman in whom the cause of anovulation is secondary and not due to primary ovarian failure, and who has been appropriately pretreated with human menotropins.
Prepubertal cryptorchidism not due to anatomical obstruction.
Contraindication
In patients with prior allergic reaction to human chorionic gonadotropin.

Precocious puberty.
Restlessness
Gynecomastia
Route of administration
It is administered intramuscular only.
Storage condition
Store at controlled room temperature 15-30°C (59-86°F). Reconstituted solution is stable for 60 days when refrigerated.
