- - - - Exteroceptors: Receptors that are sensitive to outside (a.k.a external) stimuli. Located in the skin and special senses.
        
        Special Senses: Located in our head, these are sight, hearing, smell, and equilibrium
      - Propioceptors: Receptors that are sensitive to stimuli from our muscles, tendons, joints, and ligaments. Propioceptors help with movement.
      - Interoceptors: Receptors that are sensitive to stimuli from our internal organs. I.e. Hunger
- - - - Sclera: The White of our Eyes. Made up of Dense Connective Tissue. Gives shape to the eye, Protective, and provides an anchor for our extrinsic eye muscles.
      - Cornea: Transparent. Allows light into our eyes. Helps focus light onto the retina.
    - - Choroid: Thin, black, vascular membrane. Absorbs light, prevents it from scattering, nourishes other layers especially the retina. Continuous with the Ciliary Body.
      - Ciliary Body: Smooth Muscle. Changes the shape of the lens to help focus on distant or near objects.
      - The Iris: Smooth Muscle. A sphincter. Anterior to the lens, the colored part of the eye. Continuous to the Ciliary body. Pupil located here, the pupil is the hole which allows light to enter eye, dilates and constricts.
    - - Retina: Tan in color. Very Thin. Location of Photoreceptors (Rods). Axons from retina converge to form optic nerve
        
        In the center of the Retina, is where Macula Lutea is located. it is the posterior pole.
        
        In the center of the Macula Lutea is the fovea centralis. Light is focused here, made up of only cones, this is where the clearest vision is.
  - - - Anterior Segment has a Anterior Chamber and Posterior Chamber
        
        Anterior Chamber is Cornea to Iris.
        
        Posterior Chamber is Iris to the Lens.
