IVF
Family and friends
The majority of my family and friends who completed my survey are Catholic. They stated that being Catholic does not affect their decisions and opinion towards IVF.
Out of the 9 people surveyed, 8 agree with IVF and one person is unsure about it

Who is affected?
Medical professionals / doctors could be impacted by limits on IVF. The more IVF is limited or restricted, the fewer people they could assist to have children. If IVF was severely restricted fewer medical professionals / doctors would work in the field. Less restriction may encourage more research and the continued advancement of IVF techniques.
Patients would also be affected by the decision. The more IVF is restricted, fewer people would be able to have children using IVF. If IVF was to be made more freely available and less restricted, more people may be able to have their own family.
Why is it important?
A lot of people turn to IVF treatment. 1 in 8 heterosexual couples have trouble conceiving and turn to IVF as a solution.
IVF is a very important issue. It affects a wide range of individuals and groups. IVF allows couples to be able to have babies. This may be important to some people.
IVF children could also be impacted. The more restrictions on IVF, the fewer IVF children there will be. This could mean a feeling of isolation for IVF children as they have been conceived differently.
