Understand computer networks, including the internet; how they can provide multiple services.
A possible idea for this could be to set up a class blog about what they have been learning at school as this allows all of the children to get involved in a whole class task and grasp an understanding of how computer networks can provide multiple services.

Select, use and combine a variety of software (including internet services on a range of digital devices to design and create a range of programmes.
A possible lesson idea could be to get the children to create a PowerPoint presentation about something they have learned on a school trip or in a particular topic area. This shows that the children know how to combine a variety of software, as well as information from the internet, to create a piece of work online.

The older children get, the more likely they are to have at least one social media account. This, therefore, means they need to be taught that not all users of these apps are who they suggest they are. As a result, they should not trust everyone they meet or speak to and should definitely not give people they do not actually know their personal information such as their full names, addresses and ages.
A big part of computing in KS2, is teaching children about self image and identity. This means ensuring that children understand that a person's online profile can be different from their offline profile and therefore not everyone can be trusted online.
There are many websites that help teach children to think critically about whether the people they are speaking to online are trustworthy or not. For examples, https://www.childnet.com/resources/trust-me is a website that offers lesson resources which give examples of messages and online pages that children must decide whether to trust or not within group or class discussions.
