Quality patient care

8 medically supervised session/wk; 4 by an FFPM
24/7 on-call (FANZCA or FFPM) availability for acute pain

2.0 FTE; add an extra 0.5 FTE for 3rd and subsequent trainees

Adequate new patients with exposure to: acute, chronic and cancer pain
Practical experience:
Triage
Review of med records
Collaboration with referring doctors and units
Adequate exposure to psychology and/or psychiatry with enough exposure to perform "an adequate psychosocial assessment in the first six months of their CTS"
Formal case conference at least weekly
Procedures - recommended for exposure but not required to undertake
Regular scheduled APS attendances by the trainee WITH a FANZCA or FFPM
Regular radiology desirable
Multidisc pain programs
Supervisory roles and assessment
Does the SoT believe he/she has adequate time to supervise the trainees?
