- - - - I will select dialogues based upon the initial scores from the pre-assessment. If a student did very poorly in body control, voice, and presence, but excelled at memorizing, I will give them a role where they can show off their memorization abilities. I don't want to, at the beginning of the year, force students to get bogged down in their weaknesses as it may lead to less confidence and poorer performance.
      - For the first assignment after assessment, I will allow low performing students to focus on the areas they are already confident or proficient in, to help ease them into the learning process.
      - I will be observing groups with these students closely and offering assistance. I will come around the classroom at regular intervals to make suggestions or ask leading questions to help students find their own answers.
    - - The ELL students in my class will be grouped with students who are not ELL but may be struggling in different ways. The ELL students will not be forced to memorize long parts of dialogue, but may have roles which require more confidence or physicality of character, allowing them to at the beginning of the semester gain more confidence in their other areas of performance.
      - I can record dialogue, or assign a scene from a movie, for students who cannot read well and may struggle to memorize a short scene.
