The Egyptians painted colorful pieces on papyrus, pottery, plaster, and wood. Some painted historical events, while others would illustrate religious rituals, or farming and hunting. They painted these for the amusement of the afterlife and the present life. Although painting was not the only art, they also made tombs. They included huge statues and carvings on the walls. Another form of their art was objects made of gold and stone. They made jewelry out of it including necklaces, collars and bracelets. In 1922 archaeologists found the tomb of King Tutankhamen. The tomb was filled with treasures like, jewelry, robes, masks, and ivory statues.ππππ
