What are elements of well performing team in a vuca world
each team member dares to contribute within their knowledge domain and if needed take the lead on that subject ==> as in a flock of birds
each team member is eager to strive for a shared goal ==> shared ambition
team members will take care of each other. there is space for authenticity and vulnerability
more support and insight is present in the team which reduces the chance on resistance on new things ==> conflict is often an investment in collaboration
there is a positive - negative ratio of 6:1, meaning there are six positive interactions for every negative interaction
team members are aware of each others values and mindset, they do not assume but asks when they encounter different things in their perception than some else is showing
team members know what important information is for the team and will quickly bring that to the surface
how can you recognize elements within the team that work contra productive
lack of conflict, often a sign that things are being swept under the rug. this means that there are seldom genuine breakthroughs
people start to use defense mechanisms which leads to a lack of trust
a lot of emotions are involved while discussing
people tend to talk what the others have done instead of being able what they have contributed
people talking in the I form instead of the WE form
people do not let other team members finish what they are saying all the time, interrupt other people
people do not see/feel the need to share information they received with the team ==> reactions like 'oh I already knew that'
everyone is going for their own goal, not the shared goal
