        LOCATION: Found in where cone-shaped peg fits in socket
        
        STRUCTURAL: specialized fibrous joint that anchor root of tooth into socket by strong periodontal ligaments / (synarthrosis/ immobility)
        
        FUNCTION: Binds teeth to bony sockets
      - SUTURE
        
        STRUCTURAL: Bones are tightly bound by a minimal amount of fibrous tissue during childhood and ossify in middle age
        
        LOCATION: Only occur between bones of skull/ form when skull developing
        
        FUNCTIONS: provide shock absorption for skull/ allow the skull bones to expand with the brain during childhood.
