Li Wei: Post-Multilingualism, Linguistic Creativity and New Chinglish- all languages are equal and need to be protected. In reality, societies don't view languages as equal. There is an over-emphasis on the deficient, inferior and peculiar forms, compared to 'native', 'standard' English, and the apparent communication difficulties caused by 'ill forms'.
