GUIDING
What steps can we take to solve this problem? 1.Determine what the problem wants. 2.Determine what order of operations to use by writing an equation.
3.Solve. 4.Round amount.
Can you guide me through your thinking? Answer: We have to multiply the 16.89 by 3 and 8.97 by 2 then subtract 45 from it. So our equation should look like this. [(16.89x3)+(8.97x2)] -45 Then, once we solve and it is 23.61 we round to the nearest whole number.
CLOSING
What is our answer? and how can we prove it? Our answer is 24 because is we round 23.61 to the nearest whole number is 24.
What was the Objective, and how did we meet it? Our objective was, We will estimate to determine solutions to mathematical and real-world problems involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division. We did meet it because we estimated and used the order of operations to solve our problem.
OPENING
What is the objective? We will estimate to determine solutions to mathematical and real-world problems involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division.

Exit ticket triangle, circle, and square. Students will write 3 new things that they leaned, something that squares (agrees with their thinking) and something that is still circling in their heads.
COW Challenge, Overcome, What. A way to know what the students challenge is and how they can overcome it and asking them what impact does i make on their learning?
Summative: these are the tests that are given at the end of unit or certain amount of weeks to assess the amount of content that students were able to retain.

Performance Assessments: are tests that require students to be able to do something that requires something other than answering questions.
Group experiments: In order for students to be able to know how to do an experiment they have to know the steps to take.
Research Presentations: Students need to present their learned content to the entire class. By them presenting they will perform what they learned.
