Claim: Some GMO's are very helpful with helping to fight odd diseases to using less pesticides and using less farmland to grow more food
Things like purple tomatoes help fight diseases like cancer and it does end up using less farm land depending on what foods you are growing
Counterclaim(Eve C.): These GMO's could make farmers lose money since man people dislike GMO's since they don't trust them. :squid: :<3:
Claim: GMOs can be very harmful because they cause damage to the environment and can cause people to get sick because of allergens.
Evidence: Some things found in different weed and pest killers have allergens that affect people badly
Counterclaim(Eve C.): Even if GMO's do cause allergies, it helps children get their vitamins, so they don't become blind. Without certain vitamins growing children will become blind and more, but with GMO's it adds more nutrients, which prevents these things from happening. :squid: :blue_heart:
