One bad thing is that we don't know what is in our foods. This is bad because things that are bad can be in there and then we don't know. Yes we can look at the ingredients but some things we read we don't know what they are. An example is a lot of people don't know what this is. Butylated Hydroxyanisole this is a very bad thing and is used as a preserver. Its bad though because it causes liver and kidney problems which can kill you.

Another bad thing is allergies. If there is a product that is known not to have stuff in it then gmo's are put into it that can make someone very sick and maybe even end up in the hospital.

One concern is that we don't label if we use GMO's. This is a major concern because if there are peanuts modified into something then someone who is allergic to peanuts will eat that and will have an allergic reaction and will probably end up in the hospital.

One benefit is that a lot of plants are modified to kill insects. This is really good because insects eat it and then the chemical blows up there innards :skull_and_crossbones:. This chemical is safe to humans and is helping farmers save a lot of money :dollar: :heavy_dollar_sign:.

For countries who have drought GMO foods can help them. They use salt water to grow crops and can make more crops. This helps a lot because countries like Kenya don't have a lot of water but they have a lot of salt water. So these GMO's can save countries.

They are a lot easier to grow and are faster. This is good because of there are a lot of people hungry in the world which if we can grow a lot more crops then we can help feed the people that are hungry in the world. Claim: One major concern is that if we don't label our foods that people can have a really bad allergic reaction.
