88% of corn, 93% of soybeans, and 97% of sugar beets are all genetically modified to keep bugs from eating the crops.

Drought resistant GMOs
In Africa, their productivity could increase by 1.5 times if they use drought resistant seeds.

CLAIM - A major concern of GMOs is that if a bug eats a certain crop (lets say corn), then it will die. If those bugs die, then say a butterfly doesn't have enough food to survive so those will die. Then a bat that eats the butterflies will start declining in population, etc.
EVIDENCE - According to Bill Nye's video, he said that if a certain crop kills off too many bugs, it can negatively affect the food chain.
