Anti-TB regimen
Indication: active TB
E.g. rifampicin, isoniazid (6m), pyrazinomide, ethambutol (2m)
MOA: initial phase (2m) then continuation phase (4m);
add pyridoxine to prevent isoniazid neuropathy
SEs: rifampicin (liver toxicity, thrombocytopenia, orange urine, renal failure); isoniazid (liver toxicity, peripheral neuropathy, neutropenia); pyrazinamide (liver toxicity, arthralgia), ethambutol (optic neuritis)
Interaction: rifampicin is CYP450 inducer, so COCP inactivation
