Values alignment, Branson (2007) reading list, change is necessary, sometimes forced on organizations through changes in technology, staffing, restructuring, expansion of services, proposes that individual values need to be aligned with organization ones in order to facilitate change, organisation is community of individuals, values alignment will ensure change, human nature is to succsed and do well, serve others and feel satisfied in their work, organisation needs to facilitate change in individuals, to be creative, organisational culture can have profound effects on individual attitudes and behaviours, everyone's values have to align for cohesion and too move forward, behavior is aligned to personal values, collective personal values need to aligned, this is a deliberate process (Dilts 1996) framework can be used, divides organistion into different levels that need to be addressed, each level looks at the organisation culture, have the indivdual try and understand the organisational culture
