A Hero's Journey: George Neuman (aka Fishman)
1 Oridinary World
George Neuman lives in a small town called Smonyt. It's located between a forest named "The Woods" and the open ocean.
Born a normal human boy; her mother got lost at sea; his dad died when he was still young; grew up with his gramama; still, he grew up a happy boy.
One way to pass time for him is sitting by the shore, waiting for the return of his mom.
10 Reward
George made it on top of Mt. Pontum; continued searching for the potion; found it; gave it to his mother.
The potion worked; his mom is alive again.
2 Call to Adventure
Whilst sitting by the shore, he saw something shiny in the ocean; went to look at it; was met by a fish that then tried to swallow his head.
Tried everything to get rid of the fish (the fish was somehow invincible).
Asked help around town; town started calling him "Fishman"; gramama said "The Man in the Woods" could help him.
No one knows where TMitW is located.
3 Refusal to Call
George doesn't even know where to find TMitW; well, he knows the man was in the woods but The Woods was a large place and also quite scary.
George thought of keeping the fish but his curiousity on it just grew bigger each day; plus, it wasn't really that easy to always have a fish on your head.
4 Crossing the Threshold
George prepares his journey to The Woods.
He became hesitant on continuing his quest; thought of going back; but then drew the courage to move forward.
George didn't noice someone was following him on his o called adventure to the forest.
5 Tests, Allies, Enemies
George searched for days for TMitW; got tired and decided to head back.
As he was about to do so,he heard someone/something approaching; he got scared and was ready to flee; he found out it was their town's chief's daughter- Avery.
Avery told him that she was trying to protect George, because The Woods was a very dangerous place. George believed her; and they carried on.
Out of nowhere while walking, Avery attacked George; George dodged just in time, like it was a reflex.
6 Meeting the Mentor
George sprinted for his life; fell on a hole; led him to a bunker; met Timotew
Timotew was "The Man in the Woods". So, George explained everything to Timotew.
Timotew said that Avery attacked him for his fish, it was a magical fish; people would kill to have it. Timotew also said that a potion called "Gnihtyreve" could help with his problem; it was located in the island of Nirbey.
Timotew told him that the fish was capable of different things, such as transporting him to the said island.
7 Approach to the Inner Cave
George got poofed to the island by his fish; he then searched the island; found a hut; met a lady; discovered she was his mom.
George found out his mom was there in search of a cure for his father; she searched for a long time and couldn't come home because of the stormy seas. George broke the news to his mom that his father was long gone; she felt sorrow but moved on since she was with her son now.
The next day, they began hiking the mountain in the island- Mt. Pontum.
8 The Ordeal
Midway to the mountain, they founf the Pontum Tribe; the tribe knew about the fish and attacked George and his mom.
George saw his mom got hit; George's world stopped, then a surge of tragedy and sorrow fell on him.
9 Resurrection
Rage then came onto George; his fish glowed which then enveloped him into this very bright ball of light; the said light stunned the tribe and rendered them unconsious.
George calmed down and had every motivation to find the Gnihtyreve Potion for his mother.
11 -12 Road Back & The Return with Elixir
George and his mom went back to Smonyt
They saw gramama again; and they live happily ever after. Or did they?
