Lost Production due to HX Capacity at FC3: Why is this occurring?…

- - - - Field WOR changing based on production demands (i.e. higher WOR wells targeted during dynamic storage so OTSGs can be filled) but WOR remains constant at plant
        
        The calculated raw bit and water is incorrect;
        FC1 & FC3 logic targets 74% H20 = 2.84
        
        Corrective Action:
        
        Operations to begin changing the inlet WOR based on WOR KPI calculated on a rolling average basis :star:
        Insert KPI Tags :red_flag:
        
        Activate hand-select in FC1 and FC3 to inject diluent on averaged WOR :star:

        Complete MOC-9289: FC1/FC3 Emulsion/Produced Water/Diluent/Sales Oil Flow meter correction (Am3/hr to Sm3/hr) :star:
    - - REB
        
        At CL and at a similar SAGD operator, the REB injection location is upstream of the diluent injection location.
        At both locations, as soon as "SNAP" REB from Baker-Hughes was utilized, HX fouling completely stopped
        
        Corrective Action:
        
        Enter MOC to move REB injection location upstream of the diluent injection. Try in phase F first. :star:
        
        Temporary Installation complete by March 15th Proof of concept :red_flag:
      - EB
        
        At CL and multiple SAGD operators, the EB injection is much further upstream allowing more residence time. This decreases chemical usage while improving treating KPIs
        
        Correction Actions:
        1. MOC-9936 - FC3 DMO Injection @ HIPPS :star:

        8663 + 747 worked (HX fouling perspective) @ CL-CDE; however, de-oiling got wrecked in CL-DE. *Recycle streams in FC3 should be directed to Phase F during testing in phase G!!!

        Phase II testing - 8663 + 287 + anti-foulant at CL
        MOC required to update control docs for 287 :red_flag:
        Copy full Baker-Chemical Package in G03/07 :red_flag:
        Testing completion date: end of March 2019
        PTR trial plan to be updated accordingly; document will be revised as testing progresses.
      - REB Trials
        
        PTR 2018-FC-015 FC1D & FC3F RBW Trial 291RBW & 405RBW :check:
        No improvement seen in the process or fouling of the exchanger
        
        PTR 2018-FC-016 FC3F RBW Trial 110RBW & 111RBW :star:
        
        SNAP A3287* Confirm??? Used at CL. This product didn't test well in the bottle @ FC.
      - HX Anti-Foulant (Coagulant)
        
        PTR 2018-FC-020 FC3FG Exchanger Anti-Foulant 6311 & 6355 :check:
        The reduction in exchanger cleanings did not out weight the ~700K yearly OPEX cost of the chemical
        
        PTR-2019-FC-XXXX - Additional testing of anti-foulant products coming. Facilities project to be completed by tomorrow. Exclusively on phase F. Clarify the chemicals chosen ... what supplier has been contacted? :red_flag:
    - - Inadequate desand frequency
        
        Corrective Actions:
        
        Increasing de-sand frequency to match that of CL? :star:
        CL - Confirm desanding frequency - believed to be done every 12 hours.
      - Inadequate desand effectiveness
        
        2. Confirm desand header hydraulics in treater vessel. Get mechanical isometric drawing built during FC3-V-0302B outage on March 8th :star: **May not be related to HX fouling
        
        Correction Actions:
        
        Confirm correct flow & total volume delivery to desand system during desanding. :star:

        Install additional surface area -
        MOC-11601- "Install E-0306 Shell & Tube Exchangers in Phase F & G" :star:
        HXs already procured and in surplus; project estimated @ $3MM including ~900K in hot-taps
