The Call of the Wild
Characters
Buck, a Saint Bernard and Scotch Sheperd mix. He is a loving dog with a strong spirit. He was taken by a man and sold to a man who has taken him to the far north and buck has been trying to adapt.

Spitz, the leader of the sled dog pack, also Bucks enemy. He is very strong and quite controlling. He is angry at Buck and wants anything to get rid of him, he doesnt like that Buck is trying to over power him.
Spitz and Buck fought to the death, and Buck won and Spitz was left.
Perrault, a french man who bought Buck and brought him the the frozen North. He is a very kind hearted man, but also very stern with the dogs.
Buck was sold to some other men, and had to say goodbye to Perrault
Manuel, a gardener for the Judge. Manuel is a kind trusted man, but has a gambling problem. necause of his debts, he sold Buck to a ring of dog-nappers.
After BUc was kidnapped, he never saw Manuel again.
The Man in The Red Sweater. He was a cold hearted man who took Buck from his home. He beat Buck and really showed him what pain was.

Personification
NIg was a huge black dog,half blood-hound and half deer-hound, with eyes that laughed and a boundless good nature.
The load quivered, and from under the runners arose a crisp crackling.
