The left bronchi is more narrower, larger, and not as straight
Major functions of the respiratory system
Circulates oxygen to throughout the body
Gas exchange between the lungs and bloodstream
Air vibrating the vocal chords
Anatomy of the respiratory system
all organs that involve breathing such as the nose, pharynx, larynx, etc.
Organs of the respiratory system/ location

Nose (nasal cavity)
Function: Produces mucous and is an air way
Pharynx
Function: Passageway for air and food
Divided into three regions
The nasopharynx, oropharynx, and laryngopharynx
Larynx

Main functions: provides an airway, acts as a switching mechanism for food and air, and functions as vocal production
Lower Respiratory
Trachea
Passageway for air
Right/ Left Lung
The home of where air goes
Right/ Left Bronchus
Connects trachea to alveoli
Breathing mechanisms
