Aciclovir topical cream

mechanism of action
is convected by viral thymidine kinase to aciclovir monophosphate which is then convected to by host cell kinase to aciclovir triphosphate(ACV-TP).ACV-TP inhibit and inactivates HSV-specified DNA polymerase preventing futher viral DNA synthesis without affecting normal cellular process.
contraindications
Cream is intended for cutaneous use only and should not be used in the eye or inside the mouth or nose.

mechanism of action
benzoyl peroxide is thought to have a three-fold activity in treating acne. It is sebostatic, comedolytic, and inhibits growth of P. acnes. In general, acne vulgaris is a hormone-mediated inflammation of sebaceous glands and hair follicles.
