WUTHERING HEIGHTS (1847)
PLOT
Mr. Lockwood rents Thrushcross Grange, in Yorkshire. He meets Heathcliff at Wuthering Heights, and when he returns to Thrushcross, he's told the story of the family by Nelly Dean, the Grange housekeeper.
The novel starts in 1801. Then there's a long flashback with Nelly's narration, and finally it ends in 1803
2 generations involved
First Generation: it starts with Heathcliff's arrival to Wuthering Heights and it ends with Catherine Earnshaw's death.
Second Generation: it starts with Heathcliff and Isabella Linton's marriage and it ends with Catherine Linton and Hareton's marriage

MAIN CHARACTERS
CATHERINE EARNSHAW: she's difficult and rebellious. Heathcliff is her soul mate, BUT she changes during her stay at Thrushcross Grange. She BETRAYS Heathcliff, and marries Edgar.
THEIR RELATIONSHIP is violent and possessive. They are ONE PERSON. Their identities are MERGED (I AM Heathcliff.)
