While Carmensita is now living with Tala, she noticed that Mahalia was not around, she asked where she was and Tala told her that she ran away with a boy that she met in Quinta market.
Carmensita is filled with guilt for not being around her children, she then confessed to Tala about her father and why he was not there for them.
Confession: Mahalia has a different father, one that is an actual human, while Tala and Alejandro share the same father, who is an engkanto that she met during her stay in Bataan.
Tala then learned that she and Alejandro are half engkanto and half human, which left them with undiscovered supernatural capabilities.
