DEMONSTRATE THE TECHNIQUES OF THERAPEUTIC COMMUNICATION
Make an eye contact with client during discussion
Listen carefully what the client said.
Consider both verbal and nonverbal cues
speak clearly to avoid miscommunication
Able to recognize and interpret nonverbal responses
Nurses be courtesy, understanding, and nonjudgmental towards client.
Dress well and maintain professionalism
Apply open and closed ended question to help patient to understand.
