What is just for one may not be just for all. (Justice is not always apparent until one is personally impacted.) :star:
From 1941 to 1945, Germany murdered 6 million Jews which was two-thirds of Europe's Jewish population. It was called the Holocaust and it was unjust for the Jewish people to be murdered.
Japan annexed Korea in 1910; it was unjust for the Koreans for their land to be taken; Japan thought it was just because they wanted to create an Empire and needed more land.
-
It was unjust for African american people to have no rights before and during the Civil Rights movement but white people had rights so it was just for them.
Cambodia Killing Fields.
When the Communist Party of Kampuchea took control of Cambodia in 1975, it was unjust for the Cambodians because their government was taken over by the Communists.
Humans seek justice in everyday life (family, government, school, religion). :silhouette:

In the United States we get to practice our own choice of religions. For example Muslims can practice Islam without getting imprisoned.
Police sending people to jail to serve time for doing something wrong that they shouldn't have. The police are bringing justice to whoever was affected by the wrongdoing.
Malala Yousefzai spoke out for education and women's rights by writing a book about her life and how she was treated and speaking at conferences to voice her opinion.
In the time of the scramble for Africa, all of Europe wanted land for themselves, and this was only justice to them.

People can vote on who they think would be a good representative for their country or local community. This could be a way to seek justice through representation.
When you get back at a sibling because they hurt you or broke something of yours, getting vengeance.

Justice may bring benefits to large groups of people; Justice may bring overwhelming change or regression as well. :explode:
Germany had an overwhelming change after World War I. They had over half of their military taken away, and after that their economy crashed. They had to isolate themselves afterwards, and no other countries trusted them. The Allied Powers thought it was just or right to blame them for the entire War.
The European Countries felt like they needed more land and resources. They thought they were superior to other countries. What was "JUST" to them was not "just" to Africa. They treated Africa as slaves and gave them no rights. This also shows how much change can happen in a matter of time.
-
The Allied Powers were benefited after World War I. They made Germany pay for all their damages, and took their military. They didn't include Germany in their meetings either. They thought is was just or right to blame Germany.

Justice benefited women because of women's rights. After women decided to protest, their lives changed forever. Women still feel they are not getting equal pay. Everyday, women continue to fight for equal rights.
Justice involves choice and personal decision. Humans pursue both personal and societal justice. :silhouettes:
Social Justice includes distribution of wealth, opportunity, and privilege.
-
Religious Rights can benefit everyone, so they would be societal justice.
Societal justice would be like the human rights campaign because society as a whole fought against it.
This is the bullying march, which is societal justice because society is fighting back against bullying.

**Societal Justice is justice that benefits everyone and not just one person, it benefits the society example) Human rights protanes to everyone in society, which means society gets to decide if they are going fight back for it. Unlike if it is something that only benefits you to where society doesn't fight back.
-
Personal Justice is when someone has their own idea of justice in their head (example) If Mrs.Yoder says give me all your candy, then it is only affecting her not everyone else ,so you are going to think it is not fair, but it doesn't affect anyone, so they won't care enough to fight back.
Three common examples of social injustice are racial discrimination, gender discrimination, and ageism.
Justice may be viewed as injustice, depending on one's perspective. :warning:
When your sibling does something wrong, but you get grounded for your participation in the scuffle. Your parents see that as justice, but you think they are being biased. You view this as injustice.
If someone is going to jail justice would be shown for the person who is in prison, but the victim may see injustice.

It was unjust for some humans to not have rights while other humans had rights. Sometimes they would be doing the same thing but one of them wouldn't have rights.
-
When people boycott they are proving that they are not getting justice of their rights. Rosa parks, for example, is a woman who stood up for what she deserves. Rosa parks boycotted on the bus because she was not being treated fair and neither were others. This changed lots of people's thinking and they started standing up for what they deserve as well.
