PART 1
Research what elements and principles evolves
Find a digital or analogue example of graphic design works that incorporates the elements or principles
Find or write your own description of the element or principle and discuss how each is used in your found examples
Analyse and document each example and description and choose the four most important economic, social and historical context for the design solution
PART 2
Present your findings in a creative way, think about how you want each page to represent the element or principle you are trying to portray
Using the Illustrator template (Connect) design your eight-page folded booklet
Include your original captured work and your own interpretation of the element or principle (this could be; vector, raster or analogue)
Include a written description for each
Include a separate bibliography/reference page, outlining where you got your information and the online images
Create 3 variations of your initial layout
PART 3
Evaluate your designs (technical expertise, resources, materials, tools, equipment, techniques and industry processes), using self-evaluation, feedback from peers and testing of design layout (note evaluation in your visual diary)
Choose and finalise design, making modifications from feedback and testing in terms of efficiency
Create a print ready .pdf booklet
